September 13

-D/Groups: meet this Wednesday night at the Farmers Branch campus from 7p-8:30p. If you are a 7th-12th grade student or know one, we really encourage you to join us THIS WEDNESDAY so we can get you plugged into a group! Doors open at 6p for games and dinner (featuring $2 dinner combos)!
Attention 7th-8th Grade Parents: we really want you to encourage your student not only to join us on Wednesday nights, but to accept our seventy8 challenge of engaging in a daily devotional. Available to our seventy8 students is a resource that provides 5 devotionals per week (they take 10-15 minutes each), which really encourage our junior high students to develop a discipline of being in the Word daily. Along with this, every week, I will provide a link to a Family Devotion that is in conjunction with what we are learning about on Wednesday nights! (click HERE for this week's link). Bottom line is this: we want to partner with you as your student develops important spiritual principles at this important stage in their life, but we need you to push and encourage your students to take those steps. The first step is easy: tell your student to talk to Ish about the daily devotional book.

-Day Out: On Saturday September 24, 7th-12th grade students are invited to meet at the Farmers Branch campus at 1p for some food and fun! Awaiting us for the day is an enormous scavenger hunt at IKEA and Stonebriar Mall! Following that, we will head to Cheesecake Factory for dinner and dessert! Parent pick up is at 6p, and cost for this event is $25, and HERE is the registration form. We need all students registered by THIS SUNDAY!  Don't miss it!
